Cleanings

A healthy mouth is an important part of overall wellness. Keeping your teeth white and clean requires a regular routine of cleaning both at home and via a professional dental care provider. During your next dental cleaning and consultation visit, you can expect an examination of the health of your teeth, gums and the soft tissues in your mouth, as well as a thorough cleaning.

Sealants

Sealants are thin layers of resin that are placed on the pits, fissures, and grooves of molars to prevent decay on these surfaces.

Sealants are one of the most effective methods of preventing decay on the surfaces where they are placed. Although it is still a possibility that decay may develop on surfaces in between teeth, sealants significantly reduce the overall chance of having cavities.

Fillings

When considering tooth fillings, one of the options available is composite fillings which are made from durable plastics that are similar in color to natural teeth. Because the composite fillings are tooth-colored, they look more natural and are less noticeable compared to other types of fillings.

Crowns

A crown (cap) is a restoration that is placed on teeth that have lost a lot of their structure. There are various types of crowns, ranging from full porcelain to full metal crowns. Your dentist will explain the advantages and disadvantages of each kind for you. Today we have the ability in our office to fabricate life like crowns in a single visit with our Cerec technology.

Dentures

Standard full dentures are dentures that comprise a full set of upper and lower teeth. This type of denture uses suction to stay in place. Partial dentures are dentures that replace only a limited number of teeth, not an entire set. Cosmetic dentures, as you can imagine, are made to look as natural as possible.

Veneers

This is one way to quickly get that beautiful smile. Veneers and Laminates are a thin shell of porcelain or resin that is bonded to the surface of the teeth. This can change their shape, shade, and position to improve the cosmetics of your teeth and smile. They are also used to replace and restore any lost tooth structure where indicated.

Endodontics

Every tooth consists of three different layers. The outermost and hardest layer is enamel, and the second layer is dentin. The third is pulp, which is the cavernous space where the live tissue and nerve of each tooth is located. If for any reason the pulp space is exposed to the outside, the tissue becomes contaminated and eventually infected.

Periodontics

Gum diseases like gingivitis and periodontitis occur when bacteria accumulate along and beneath the gum line. This causes the gums to become inflamed and sore, and they may bleed easily when irritated. Over time, untreated gum disease can infect both the gum tissue and the underlying bone, causing gum recession, bone deterioration, and potential tooth loss.

Invisalign

Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten teeth without braces. Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually straighten teeth, without metal or wires. Invisalign uses 3-D computer imaging technology to depict the complete treatment plan from the initial position to the final desired position from which a series of custom-made, clear “aligners” are produced.

Sinsational Bleach

Sinsational Smile is a fast, effective, affordable teeth whitening procedure that uses the latest LED technology to give you a brighter smile. The procedure is simple: a silicone tray, filled with an advanced whitening gel, is placed into your mouth. A dental hygienist will then use an LED light to activate that gel and accelerate the whitening process. The procedure is non-invasive and takes only 20 minutes on average.

About CEREC

With the CEREC 3D system, we can create a new porcelain restoration for you, from start to finish, in about two hours. No more impressions, temporaries or multiple appointment visits. Your new restoration is made on the spot with a computer imaging device and durable porcelain precisely sculpted to fit your tooth.

Implants

When a single tooth is lost, other teeth surrounding it may begin to shift, resulting in an unsightly appearance. In the past, bridges were the preferred method of cosmetic restoration, but surrounding teeth had to be damaged in order to support the prosthesis. As an alternative, many patients seek dental implants as a means of improving cosmetic appearance following the loss of a tooth. A dental implant has the look, feel and function of a natural tooth, and it’s positioning within the bone where the prior tooth was once rooted prevents other teeth from shifting out of place. The result is a visually appealing smile the wearer can be proud of.
